WEST HAVEN – A tractor-trailer accident lead to a fuel spill on I-95 Wednesday morning.
The accident happened near Exit 43 on the Northbound side of the highway around midnight.
According to the New Haven Register, the fuel tanks ruptured and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection were called to the scene.
The accident was cleared around 4:30 a.m. There were no reported injuries.
