BERLIN--We're right in the middle of fair season, and to different people that means different things.

At the Southington Apple Festival, it's all about the fritters. Thousands wait on line annually for the famous fall treat, and fair organizers are hopeful that the weather won't dampen the turn out.

The festival is in its 47th year, and usually brings in about 100,000 visitors.

Meanwhile, in Berlin, the fair has it's happy moments--horse shows, tractor pulling, arts and crafts, as well as tons of good food--but it's not all about the laughs.

An exhibit that organizers have been working on since January has come to fruition, and many are attending the fair just for that one feature.

That's the 9/11 exhibit, which is meant to honor those lost, but also to teach people about what happened on that tragic day.

Former New York firefighters provide tours of the museum, including ones who responded on that September day.

Danny Beyar, one of the former NYC firefighters, said of the exhibit, "People that can't make it to New York, we bring New York to them."
