Vigil held in New Britain to honor those impacted by domestic violence

NEW BRITAIN–A candlelight vigil was held on Wednesday in honor of domestic violence awareness month.

The “Silent No More” event was held not just to commemorate those who were lost, but also those who have survived. The goal was to demand an end to the violence.

Survivors spoke about their experiences, and candles were lit in honor of those who have been lost to the violence.
