MANCHESTER–Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a woman in critical condition.
At 10 p.m. on Monday a 49-year-old woman was in the area of Center and Adams streets when she was hit by an unknown car that left the scene. Police were able to track down the car in Bristol. Just after midnight they arrested Isa Uzun of Bristol. Officers also say his driver’s license was under suspension at the time of the incident. He has been charged with evading responsibility in a serious injury motor vehicle collision and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
The woman suffered serious injuries and is in critical condition.
