MANCHESTER — Online registration is now open for the 79th Annual Manchester Road Race. The race is set for 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26.
The race will be limited to 15,000 participants. Online Registration will shut down at noon on Thursday, Nov 19 or when they hit the online registration limit of 14,000.
It’s $25 to run if you sign up before Sunday, November 8. It will cost you $30 thereafter. Race registrations are non-refundable.
This June, longtime Road Race president, Dr. Dave Prindiville, called it quits after 37 years. Prindiville, 68, retired from his practice as a oral and maxillofacial surgeon three years ago is moving to Cape Cod full time.
“The Manchester Road Race has become a fun and important Thanksgiving Day tradition for many people, and it is an immensely popular event,” race President Tris Carta said. “We are urging everyone to please register early, and to do it online, if possible.”
The race starts and finishes on Main Street in front of St. James Church.
