LEBANON — Fire departments from several towns were called in to fight a fire that significantly damaged a house.
Firefighters from Lebanon, Franklin, Bozrah , Colchester, Salem, South Windham, and Columbia responded to the fire that started around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. Crews said it took about an hour to put out the flames.
Officials believe the fire started in a structure behind the house and spread to the single family ranch home at 71 Carriage Drive.
Officials said the two people were home at the time were not injured. The Red Cross is assisting the residents.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate
The home is not habitable.
