SOUTHINGTON — State police located the truck they said was involved in a hit and run Tuesday that seriously injured a Tolland man.
Police said the white tractor-trailer was located at the Travel Authority Truck Stop in Southington around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Their investigation determined that the damage to the truck was consistent with the crash that occurred shortly after 4 a.m. between exits 64 and 65 on I-84 Westbound.
Police said Kane Jellison, 33, of Tolland, was injured when the pickup truck he was driving rolled over. Police said he was recovering from serious injuries at St. Francis Hospital.
The tractor-trailer is owned by Heartland Express in Iowa.
State police said they were still investigating.
