FAIRFIELD COUNTY–If you’re hanging out in Fairfield County on Thursday and want a pick-me-up, Uber is on hand to help.

The transportation company is offering #UberKITTENS, an event that allows app users to get some furry company.

The program works through the app, and will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Fairfield County on Thursday, October 29.

On the bottom slider in the app, request the “KITTENS” option. If matched, a car full of kitties will show up for 15 minutes for you to snuggle and play with–but demand is expected to be high and you are not guaranteed a match. You’ll also be offered the chance to adopt one of the cats.

You must have a secure indoor area for the kitty playtime.

The Fairfield program is run in partnership with Pet Animal Welfare Society. Each city participating in the event across the country has a different participating partner.
