HAMDEN - A Holocaust survivor shared her story of survival in an attempt to enlighten younger generations.
Anita Schorr of Westport spoke at Quinnipiac University Wednesday.
At age 8, she was among the youngest to survive Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
She was sent to the concentration camp in Auschwitz and moved to several others during the war.
She gives dozens of presentations each year.
Schorr began telling her story to audiences after attending the opening of the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. in 1993.
