EAST WINDSOR – On Thursday at 11 a.m. police took a child pornography suspect into custody.

Tyler Kozak, 21, of Hartford, was staying at the Carousel Apartments in East WIndsor. Kozak is currently in the custody of the Connecticut State Police on $75,000 bail.

Kozak is wanted for possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. A warrant was issued for his arrest on September 9.

On April 23, police executed a search warrant on Kozak’s home as part of an investigation into child pornography that began when police received a tip that Kozak had shared a link to pornographic images of children.

Laptops, memory devices, a cell phone, a tablet and an 8mm tape were seized from Kozak’s home, and an analysis of the items showed numerous images and videos of child pornography.

Police say that Kozak also goes by the name Tyler Elster-Kozak.
