THOMPSON– Two people were killed last night after an accident on I-395 Northbound.
The accident happened Exit 99 (formerly Exit 50), in the town of Thompson around 8:35 p.m.
State police say the driver of a Chrysler Sebring entered the roadway and headed south in a northbound lane and drove head on into a 2015 Freightliner Flatbed truck that was traveling north on the highway.
The driver of the truck was unhurt.
The driver and a passenger of the Sebring–David Courteau, 42, of Dayville, and Maureen Parenteau, 43, of the same Dayville address–were both pronounced dead.
