State Capitol police arrest man for taking photo of woman

HARTFORD–State Capitol police arrested a man on Tuesday for illegally taking a picture of a woman.

The Capitol police, which operates in the vicinity of the state Capitol building, got a complaint that a man had taken a secret photo of a woman without her knowledge or permission.

The suspect was identified as Victor Cuevas, 28, of Waterbury.

Cuevas was charged with voyeuristic recording of another person, disorderly conduct and making a false statement. He was released on $1,500 bond and is due in court on November 15.
