NEW LONDON – Police said a stolen gun was found on a man who was involved in a bar fight at a New London cafe.

At about 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, police patrolling downtown after closing time responded to a fight that broke out at the Y-Knot Cafe. The fight spilled out into the street and was broken up by police.

As police tried to disperse the crowd, Arsenio Dudley, 25, of Jerome Road in Uncasville refused to leave the area and continued to yell in the street. Police said he was asked several times by police to leave the area but refused, identifying himself as the secretary of a motorcycle club. Several members of his club tried to walk him away but he continued yelling and returned to the area and he was arrested.

He was searched and found to be in possession of a Sig Sauer .380 caliber handgun that was reported stolen in 2012, according to police.

He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and disorderly conduct. He is free on $100,000 bail and is slated to appear in court on Friday, November 27.
