BETHANY — State Police say a man found dead Sunday in Bethany was shot multiple times and his death has been ruled a homicide. Troopers responded to Wooding Hill Road around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Troopers found a man dead on the ground. Detectives identified the man as Joel Suero, 27, of New Haven. No other victims were located.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause and manner of death was multiple gunshot wounds and it was declared a homicide. State police released that information Tuesday.

On Sunday, state police said there is no threat to the community or public.
