SOUTH WINDSOR – On Wednesday, police pulled over a street-level drug dealer driving around the area in the area of Sullivan Avenue and Route 5 in South Windsor.

Police said they observed a 2008 Subaru Outback with Massachusetts plates was observed speeding on Sullivan Avenue.  The car was stopped by police who said a quantity of marijuana was found in two large audio speakers that were being carried in the cargo area of the car.

Police seized the car and almost 35 pounds of marijuana.

David Loomis, 30, of Halifax, VT, was charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, consipracy to possess more than four ounces of marijuana, consipracy to possess with intent to sell and traveling too fast for road conditions. He is being held on $250,000 bail.

Aaron Kater, 29, of Northampton, MA, was charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, consipracy to possess more than four ounces of marijuana, and consipracy to possess with intent to sell. He is being held on $250,000 bail.
