HAMDEN – Police have identified the victims of a double homicide Tuesday.
Police said Damian Connor, 23, of Hamden and Tamar Lawrence, 19, of New Haven were found dead in a Nissan Maxima in an apartment building parking lot.
Police Chief Thomas Wydra said Tuesday, the department received a call around 1:30 p.m. from a concerned resident about a car parked and running in the parking lot.
“Fire personnel and police personnel arrived on the scene [and] almost immediately determined that the occupants of the vehicle were deceased,” said Chief Wydra.
Police said the men appear to have been shot inside the car and were there for hours before being discovered.
