Milford police investigating man who offered women money to get in car

MILFORD — Police are investigating a report of a man offering young women money to get in to his car.

Police said on Wednesday between 3:45 and 4:45 p.m. several young women reported a man  driving a 4 door baby blue colored sedan approached them and said he had money and to get into his car. The incident happened near Edgemont Park.

Police said the man was Caucasian, 20 to years old, with brown hair and brown eyes, clean-shaven and wearing a polo shirt.

Last month, two joggers in separate parts of town reported a man who tried to touch them inappropriately.

Police were looking for man they described as Caucasian, between 25 to 35, with a slender build, between 5′ 6″ to 6′ 0″ tall and around 150 lbs to 175 lbs.

One incident happened on Beach Avenue and Chapel Street and the second incident happened the Monday near Grant Street.
