MILFORD — One person was struck and killed by a Metro North train early Tuesday.
The Metropolitan Transit Authority is investigating the incident.
The person was struck and killed shortly before 2 a.m. on the train tracks at the Milford station.
45 people were on the train at the time which was coming from Grand Central and heading to New Haven. Passengers were transferred to a another train.
The accident will not impact train travel according to officials.
