WEST HARTFORD — Police arrested three men in a connection with a robbery at a gas station where they said one of the suspects dropped his wallet. The suspects also took a mobile phone with a tracking application which led to their arrest according to police.
Police were called to the Mobil station at 55 Kane St. Monday morning around 9 a.m. for two men who robbed the store at gunpoint.
One of the suspects dropped his wallet climbing off the store counter. Among the items taken was an iPhone with a tracking application which indicated the phone was at on Merril St. When police went to the location they found the suspects, who matched the descriptions given by the store employee, in a vehicle behind the apartment.
Police arrested Timothy Warren, 49, Keith Warren, 37 and Randal Michaels, 32.
Michaels arrested on firearms, robbery and larceny charges, He was held on $350,000 bond. Police said he dropped his wallet in the robbery.
Timothy Warren was arrested on conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit larceny charges. He was held on a $350,000 bond.
Keith Warren was arrested for conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit larceny. He was held on a $350,000 bond.
Police said Timothy Warren is Keith Warren’s uncle. The three are also suspects in other crimes in West Hartford.
