STAMFORD--The path is leading young Jedis to quite an exhibit in Stamford.

A new Lego "Star Wars" exhibit is being displayed at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center just as "The Force Awakens" shatters world records at the box office.

"A Billion Bricks" shows off a galactic empire, filled with fan-favorite scenes from all the films.

"A lot of people ask us every day 'how many Lego bricks are in this exhibition,' and we don't really know  for sure. It's close to a million, but calling it a billion just sounded better," said Kirsten Brophy, the curator of exhibits at the museum.

The exhibit is not one for the casual viewer. It really highlights George Lucas' entire vision, to the very end.

"Anything that related to Clone Wars or to the 'Star Wars' books, the 'Star Wars' video games, all of those mini figures are on exhibit here," said Kirsten.

The exhibit runs through February 7, and is free with tickets to the museum. The Bendel Mansion Museum Galleries, where this exhibit is featured, are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on special interactive workshops, museum entrance prices and directions, click here.
