HARTFORD--Literacy is the linchpin for developing well-rounded students, and a novel new partnership between Hartford Public School and the Hartford Public Library encourages reading for all.

The goal is for the library to become much more embedded in the daily life of students, and to increase diversity in education.

Stan Simpson spoke to Hartford Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Beth Narvaez and Hartford Public Library CEO and President Matt Poland about "Boundless," a new program at the Sarah J. Rawson Elementary School in Hartford's North End.

The program is meant to increase opportunities not just for children, but for adults as well.
