HARTFORD--Hartford is going to the horses.
The first ever Connecticut Classic Horse Show will be held in Keney Park next year, and the equestrian industry means big business for the capital city.
Stan Simpson sat down with Patricia Kelly, of the Ebony Horsewoman, and Horse Show project director Regina Roundree to discuss the big event, which will be held September 21 through September 25, 2016.
The show will be a premier equestrian hunter and jumper competition, and is being hosted by the Westbrook Hunt Club and presented by Ebony Horsewoman, Inc.
The hope is that the competition will become an annual event in the city.
