BRIDGEPORT — Bridgeport police have made an arrest in connection with the killing in October of a city business owner during a home invasion.
Police tell The Connecticut Post that 40-year-old Orlando Pacheco, of Waterbury, was arrested earlier this week and charged with felony murder, home invasion, robbery and risk of injury to a child. He is being held in lieu of $1.5 million and it’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
Police say Pacheco is one of three men wanted in connection with the Oct. 18 stabbing death of 28-year-old Jayson Rosado in his home. The assailants fled with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry.
Rosado was the owner of All Star barbershop, and had two children.
