NEW YORK–A woman is searching for the owner of a wedding ring after it was found in a pair of men’s jeans she bought.
Jean Remini ordered the Seven for all Mankind size 38 jeans from Neiman Marcus for her husband as a Christmas gift, but when he tried them on and put his hands in the pockets he found the ring.
The ring, which is either white gold or sterling silver, has a date engraved in it.
The jeans were shipped from a Neiman Marcus in Tyson’s Galleria Mall in McLean, Virginia, and arrived at the Remini home in New York City.
“This is something that is very important to someone. I know how important it is…I lost my engagement ring and still haven’t found it. So this is very close to my heart and I really want to find the owner,” Remini said. She said she hopes if the owner is found it will be a great Christmas gift.
Neiman Marcus says they are trying to find the original owner of the jeans to return the ring.
