WATERBURY– One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on I-84 Eastbound Wednesday night.
The crash happened between exits 23 and 25 on the eastbound side of the highway around 9:30 p.m. State Police said other cars may have been involved.
The highway reopened shortly after 5 a.m.
Earlier, a water main broke on the highway near exit 25 just after 8 p.m., and the lanes were shut down, though the shoulder remained open.
