BLOOMFIELD--The Bloomfield Warhawks improved to 8-0 for the year with the 58-45 victory over the East Catholic Eagles.

It was the Eagles' first loss of the season, and came as the team played without two key players due to injury.

But the Eagles didn't go down without a fight: the team kept the game close late into the game. Bloomfield's speed and depth put the game away late.

The Warhawks are now looking to keep the winning streak alive as they face Tolland on Tuesday night.
