HARTFORD — You never know what’s on tap for the Hartford Police Department.
They had the luck of the Irish Wednesday morning when a truck delivering Guinness was stolen, but only briefly, in downtown Hartford.
The truck was recovered on Columbus Boulevard, and none of the beer was found to be missing, according to Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian J. Foley on twitter.
Foley also tweeted photos of the truck along with other Hartford police officers.
“… and I hope my two academy classmates (Brooks/Pepler) have a strong alibi on their whereabouts,” he joked.
