ELLINGTON — There are still no answers about a homicide case in Ellington. Town residents tell FOX 61 they are concerned, because it’s been five weeks and they still don’t know what happened.
Police said Connie Dabate, 39, was found killed in her home on December 23 and her death was ruled a homicide.
The medical examiner said Dabate died from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and head. Her husband, Richard Dabate, was also treated for minor injuries.
FOX 61 reached out to State Police Wednesday who tell us there are “no new developments.” State Police said on Christmas Eve that this was an isolated incident.
“Everywhere you go, people are talking about it,” said Ellington dad John Szymanski. “I think now it’s more frustration than the first sudden shock of anger or concern. Now, it’s frustration because people want answers because she was a fantastic mom and a wonderful lady.”
