WEST HAVEN – West Haven Police have identified a dead body found in the water Friday.
Michael Farmer, 50, of New Haven was discovered in the water off Oak Street Pier just before 10 a.m.
A person walking along the boardwalk spotted Farmer’s body in the water and called police.
No determined manner of death has been determined, but they have ruled out suicide as a cause of death.
West Haven Police are continuing their investigation.
