TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State pulled out all the stops to try and distract Oregon State from making free throws during Thursday night’s game.
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps in a speedo, wearing and all his gold medals, cheering in the crowd!
The “curtain of distraction” is an ASU tradition – people pop out from behind the curtain in hopes of throwing off the other team.
Phelps’ distractions actually seemed to work since the shooter missed his free throw in what was already a blowout game.
Phelps moved to Arizona to train for the Olympics in Rio.
