HARTFORD — Police arrested a convicted felon from Windham after finding 1,300 bags of heroin and a .40 caliber gun in the car after a traffic accident Sunday evening.
Police were investigating an accident at 1364 Main Street when they discovered a Hi-Point .40 caliber handgun, with seven live rounds , 1,300 bags of heroin, and $331 in cash.
Gabriel Rodriguez, 27, of Windham, was charged with failure to stay in the lane, driving without a license, driving with a weapon in the car, no permit for weapon, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics near a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
