Sean Pragano kicked off Foodie Friday, a weekly look at some of the best restaurants around our state, with a visit to Louis' Lunch, the birthplace of the hamburger sandwich.
The hamburger sandwich, as legend goes, was born when a customer was in a rush and the owner took the meat and put it between two slices of bread.
Now, Jeff Lassen is the fourth generation of the family to run the restaurant which has been visited by many famous faces through the years.
