HARTFORD - Stomping out violence Saturday in Hartford as residents, Fire and Police departments, and Mayor Luke Bronin gathered to focus on reducing violence.
Hartford's Drill Drum and Dance Corps performed at the event, which was dedicated to youth to give them a violence-free atmosphere and encouraging them to find extracurricular activities to prevent violence at a young age.
The Hartford Stomp the Violence events work to develop stronger relationships between community members and the police to prevent further violence.
