HEBRON — Students, teachers and staff are able to pay their respects to a teacher who they say really connected with students over the years.

Lawrence “Larry” F. Fagan, Jr. died Wednesday, February 17, after battling cancer.  Fagen taught at RHAM High School in Hebron. Both RHAM Middle and High Schools are both closed for the day so people may attend Fagen’s funeral mass.

In his obituary, it said he will be remembered by his students for things like Fluffernutter Day, Buzzard Day, Perception Goggle Olympics, weekly “Pienalists” and the fictitious Pisces Club.

The funeral mass is being held St. Patrick St. Anthony Church in Hartford.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be sent to the Larry Fagan Scholarship Fund (a scholarship for RHAM students) at 85 Wall Street, Hebron CT 06248.
