HARTFORD -- A judge's decision this week advances a bid for a new trial by Joshua Komisarjevsky, one of two men convicted in the 2007 Petit family murders in Cheshire. Also this week, prosecutors were at the State Supreme Court, asking justices to reinstate the conviction of Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel, for the 1975 murder of his Greenwich neighbor, Martha Moxley.
