SOUTHBURY -- Connecticut State Police are investigating after a child in Southbury was reportedly asked to get into a car by a man at a bus stop.

Police say several students had just gotten off a bus at the intersection of River Hill Road and Branch Road at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon when the incident occurred.

One of the kids walked by the car where the man was sitting inside. He was said to be driving a gray-colored car, possibly a Subaru.

The man was described as being between 45 and 55 years old with gray hair, facial hair and he was wearing eye glasses. The man stayed inside his car during the incident.
