One killed in Route 2 crash
The crash at exit 5D occurred at 8:45 p.m. The victim has been identified as Melvin Gordon, a former UConn student who didn’t graduate but attended the university a few years ago.
Gordon was involved in another fatal car crash in 2010, according to the Hartford Courant.
