MIDDLETOWN — A Connecticut State Police dispatcher was arrested on charges of enticing a minor and risk of injury to a minor.
Jeffrey Norton, 48, of Waterbury, was arrested Wednesday in Middletown. He has worked for the state police since 2004 and is a dispatcher at Troop I in Bethany. Police said he has been placed on paid administrative leave pending outcome of the investigation.
Norton was charged with risk of injury to a child and enticing a minor for sex, using a computer. No other details of the case were released.
He was released on a bond of $1,500 and is scheduled to appear in court on March 16.
