HARTFORD–An arrest has been made nearly three months after a man was killed in the capital city’s 30th homicide of 2015.

On Wednesday, December 9 at 12:02 p.m. Hartford Police responded to 911 reports of a person who was possibly shot in the area of Albany Avenue and Baltimore Street.

The victim, later identified as Joseph Lindsey, 45, of Hartford, arrived at St. Francis Hospital in a private car with multiple stab wounds. He soon died at 12:33 p.m.

Police found several witnesses, as well as physical evidence–and together, it helped identify the suspect. On Friday, January 22, an arrest warrant issued for Brock Davis, 41, charging him with murder. The warrant had a $1 million bond attached.

However, police did not know where Davis was.

On Thursday Davis was arrested in Springfield, Massachusetts by Hartford detectives and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He was charged with being fugitive from justice, and will be charged with murder when extradited back to Connecticut.
