DJ, three others arrested for drug sales at Wallingford pizza restaurant

WALLINGFORD — Police arrested four men, including the DJ and host of trivia night at a pizza restaurant, for selling cocaine at the business.

Police said they had received complaints about the sale of illegal drugs at Colony Pizza House & Restaurant, 32 Center St., located near the train station. One of the men arrested, James Mazziotti, also known as “DJ Jimmy Mazz”, hosted karaoke and trivia nights at the restaurant according to police. The arrests were made on Wednesday and Thursday.

Authorities said Mazziotti, 34, of Wallingford,  was arrested on charges of selling  of narcotics,  possession of narcotics, and conspiracy to sell narcotics. Police said Mazziotti was in possession of two bags of cocaine when he was arrested. He was released on $55,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 16.

Brandon Preston, 33, of Meriden, was charged with selling of narcotics, possession of narcotics, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell on Wednesday. Police also seized over a ½ ounce of cocaine at his home. He was released on $110,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 24.

Leonard Tartaglia Jr., 31 of Meriden was charged with sale of narcotics and possession of narcotics. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 16.

Joshua Albee, 33 of Wallingford,  was charged with two counts of sales of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics, and conspiracy to sell narcotics.  He was released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 15.
