MANSFIELD – A 22-year-old man who was kneeling in the northbound lane of Route 195 was seriously injured in Mansfield Sunday after being hit by a car.
At around 2:20 a.m. two Nissan Altimas were driving on Route 195, near East Road, when Christopher Pineda was hit by a car that couldn’t stop in time.
The second Altima also could not stop in time and hit the Altima in front of it.
Pineda had serious injuries and was taken to Windham Hospital then taken by Life Star to St. Francis Hospital.
Nobody in either car was injured.
