HARTFORD — A man accused in a homicide in Hartford has been extradited back to the city and will be arraigned March 9. Brock Davis, 41, was arrested last week in Springfield, Mass.

On Wednesday, December 9 at 12:02 p.m. Hartford Police responded to 911 reports of a person who was possibly shot in the area of Albany Avenue and Baltimore Street. It was the capital city’s 30th homicide of 2015.

The victim, later identified as Joseph Lindsey, 45, of Hartford, arrived at St. Francis Hospital in a private car with multiple stab wounds. He soon died at 12:33 p.m.

Police found several witnesses, as well as physical evidence–and together, it helped identify the suspect. On Friday, January 22, an arrest warrant issued for Brock Davis, 41, charging him with murder. The warrant had a $1 million bond attached.

But, police did not know where Davis was. On Thursday, March 3, Davis was arrested in Springfield by Hartford detectives and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
