HARTFORD — Constellation Brands Beer Division announced Thursday a voluntary recall of select Corona Extra 12- packs and 18-packs with deposit labels in the U.S. that may contain small particles of glass. This recall potentially affects about one-tenth of one percent of Corona Extra 12-ounce clear bottles in the marketplace, according to the company. Production codes for the potentially impacted bottles are listed here.

Consumers can determine whether they have affected product by checking for the 8-digit alphanumeric code printed on the side panels of the cardboard cartons of 12-packs and 18-packs, and on the necks of Corona Extra 12-ounce bottles, as indicated by this image:

If you are injured while drinking Corona, the company says “please consult with your physician immediately. Thereafter, please contact our consumer call center at (866) 204-9407 for more information and support.” At this point, no one has reported being injured by the bits of glass.

Corona issued a recall for the same reason in August 2014.
