House collapses in overnight fire in Hartford

HARTFORD- Firefighters responded to a large house fire on Magnolia Street Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 2 a.m. Large flames were seen a great distance away from the house and part of the house collapsed.

Officials confirm that the house was vacant at the time and there were no injuries, however the building next door at 92-94 Magnolia Street was occupied and two families consisting of seven adults and one child were evacuated.

Police have the area of Magnolia Street and Albany Avenue blocked off. Check back for more updates.
