HARTFORD-- A person was shot near a Hartford Walmart Monday evening.
The victim was shot in Flatbush Avenue Walmart parking lot and was found laying on the ground next to a pick-up truck. The victim suffered three shots to the abdomen and is in critical condition.
Police are on the scene investigating and have not released many details about the suspect, but say it may have been a drug deal gone bad. Both the male victim and suspect are said to be in their mid-20s.
Customers said that part of the concern about the shooting is that it was in broad daylight at a popular neighborhood shopping center, and kids were nearby.
