HARTFORD — Forty teams from Connecticut and Massachusetts gathered in Hartford this weekend for an annual robotics competition.
Hartford Public Schools officials said it was the biggest event in the state related to science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, education.
The competition took place Saturday and Sunday at the Academy of Engineering and Green Technology at Hartford Public High School, which hosted it for the third year in a row.
The event was designed to give students an opportunity to use engineering and problem-solving skills.
