Accidents snarl morning and evening commutes across the state

HARTFORD -- Accidents due to the springtime snow storm caused problems for commuters both Monday morning and Monday evening.

A crash in East Hartford blocked lanes for several hours in the morning near Exits 59 and 58 on the Westbound side of I-84.

Another crash in Manchester also caused problem for commuters near Exit 62 on I-84 Westbound.

Commuters on I-91 didn't fare any better with accidents in Windsor on the Southbound side between Exits 38A and 37 and in Wethersfield that caused delays Northbound between Exits 24 and 25. Those accidents were cleared.

Several minor accidents caused problems for commuters coming in to Hartford from the West Hartford area in the morning. Multiple minor crashes occurred Monday evening as well as workers left the Capitol City.
