HARTFORD - A December homicide in Ellington is still unsolved over three months later but now Emmy-nominated Crime Watch Daily is bringing national attention to the case.

The show's host revealed what they've uncovered so far in an interview you'll only see on FOX 61.

Over three months ago, a mother was found dead inside her home after an apparent home invasion just two days before Christmas.  Her husband was treated for minor injuries. Connie Dabate's death was ruled a homicide.

Matt Doran, host of Crime Watch Daily spoke with Erika Arias from his Los Angeles studio about what have they have found, including if police are any closer to unraveling the motive for this murder.

As with many small town murders, the town of Elllington is full of theories. What have the townspeople told the Crime Watch Daily team? Was this really a home invasion? Was it connected somehow to the family? Was it a love triangle gone wrong?

You can watch Crime Watch Daily's investigation into the Ellington homicide Friday at 3 p.m. on FOX 61, followed by the FOX 61 News at 4.
