HARTFORD -- Coco  (a.k.a. Coco Bean) is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix. This delightfully sweet lady was found roaming and was picked up by animal control and never claimed.

Her personally is gentle, calm, and very sweet. She has a steady but humble confidence about her that the other dogs seem drawn to. But she’s not aloof. She gets along very well with them, in a “big sister” sort of way.

She is affectionate and interactive.  Gets along with everybody, but is more inclined to human contact. Coco is not very energetic, she likes a walk or a car ride, but prefers snuggling and affection. She’s had litters before, though not sure how many and maybe her maternal type instincts arise from that.

The best home for Coco would be a quiet, routine environment.  She’d do great with a couple retirees or empty-nesters. She’d probably love to travel, and be included on vacations.  She hardly makes a peep, and would be welcome anywhere. She would also be fine in an apartment or condo, where a small, quiet dog is required.
