NEW HAVEN — Police are investigating a home invasion late Wednesday where they said three armed men threatened a teen and a baby.
Police were called to 35 Main St. at 11 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a reported home invasion.
The nineteen-year-old resident told them she was at home with three-month-old child in a bedroom when she heard the front door being forced open.
She told police three black men, armed with a gun and a knife, entered her room, demanding money and valuables. Police said they took money and the victim’s boyfriend’s two iPhones.
The three suspects were described as wearing black pants, black hooded sweatshirts and masks with only their eyes showing.
The teen and the baby were not harmed. Police said there were reports of a champagne colored, four-door Nissan Altima in front of the building which the suspects entered and headed down Main Street toward Atwater Street.
